High School Math Blessings

Our high school math students won first place in the ACSI Rocky Mountain Region Math League Competition in not just one or two subjects, but in pre-algebra, algebra I, algebra II, geometry, and pre-calculus.
We belong to, and our high school is accredited through, an association of Christian schools called ACSI. It is the largest association of Christian schools in the world with around 30,000 K-12 students in our Rocky Mountain region alone, which includes Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming.
Most of our high school students participate by taking a series of tests. The five highest scores in each math subject area are then sent off to the Rocky Mountain Region headquarters to be judged against the other schools in the region. The one subject we didn’t place in was calculus because we only have one student in it this year.

This week our students are participating in the national math league competition against the other nine regions.
Congratulations to our excellent 7-12 math teachers – Staci Fletcher, Matt Maier, April Cylwik, and Matt Ihms.
